Few series have generated as much anticipation in recent years as The Last of Us. The HBO series, based on the popular video game by Naughty Dog, has delighted both fans of the original game and newcomers, and next year we will finally have its continuation. As players well know, The Last of Us is broader, more complex, and deeper than the first one, and this is what they promise us with this second season.

Although the producers have already announced that it will not be the last season, as they have not been able to cover the entire game in the next 10 episodes, we will see at least the first part of what happened. Now we have received a first preview of the series thanks to the teaser of everything that will be released on Max between 2024 and 2025, and it looks exciting:

A second part even more interesting than the first

As planned, the second season of The Last of Us will be released during the first months of 2025. Despite the actors’ strike catching it in pre-production and causing a significant delay, we finally know that we will be able to see the series next year, so the wait is not as critical as one might expect.

As we know from the video game, in the second part of The Last of Us Ellie embarks on a relentless mission of revenge, facing dangerous enemies and moral dilemmas that challenge her own principles, leaving her questioning the true value of her quest. Alongside Abby, who also plays an important role in the game and will do so in the series, Ellie will face obstacles that will make her reconsider everything she has experienced so far. A second part, undoubtedly even more interesting than the first.
