Everyone needs a hero. We hold out for heroes like Bonnie Tyler in her song; our hero can be ‘’racing on the thunder and rising with the heat’’ or even somewhere‘’ up where the mountains meet the heavens above out where the lightning splits the sea’’. But what about game heroes?

Our heroes are real people or characters from books, comic books, movies, TV shows, and even from video games. Yes, that’s right. There are so many amazing video games with heroes in their quests.

Video Game Heroes – Heroes of New Era

How many times have you played Super Mario and helped him on his quest to save his beloved princess? Thanks to the rapid improvement of technology, many video games look so realistic, and gamers feel like they are those characters on the quest. Regardless of the game genre, everyone can find their own hero and help him/her on the quest.

10 – Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher Series)

Slaying monsters and earning some coins isn’t enough to be called the 10th top video game hero. However, maybe he would be neglected if it weren’t for the amazing performance of Doug Cockle, who is a great voice actor. Even though a player can choose which actions Geralt will do, it still suits the character of a hero.
