Israeli company Mixtiles has already made a name for itself with a utility that lets you turn your photos into self-adhesive wall tiles. Now, the company operating out of Tel Aviv has found a way to yet again bring some individual flare into customers’ lives. The company’s latest venture is called Daydream, and it lets you turn text prompts into custom generative AI wall art.
This may sound familiar, but this isn’t exactly the same as the utility that’s likely in your head right now. While Daydream works in tandem with Dall-E, it provides a slightly different service.

The major draw for customers likely to support the Daydream innovation is the ability to have custom-framed wall art to display in their homes. As the website states: ‘Mixtiles DayDream uses DALL-E 2, the most cutting edge generative AI technology, to generate artwork based on the descriptions you provide.’
From there, the Daydream utility will suggest four generative AI images based on the details contained within the prompt you provided. Once you’ve made your choice between the four images generated, the Mixtiles team will get to work fulfilling your order. The company states that shipping usually takes ‘about a week. In some countries, it takes a little longer, but the app will show you your expected delivery date before you confirm your order.’
The framing process is relatively straightforward as well, and relies on the tried and trusted Mixtiles methodology. ‘We use Mixtiles’ to print and frame the artwork. There’s a sticky strip on the back of them. You peel off the protective paper and stick them on the wall. Easy as pie! (We enjoy pie.)’
The company also states that once the frames are in place on your walls, they’re easy to shift around, should you need to move them. ‘That’s what Mixtiles are made for! Just pop them off the wall and stick them in a different spot. Knock yourself out, you can do this a few dozen times!’
Mixtiles, and by extension, these generative AI wall art pieces, are suited to most types of walls, and the company states that they’re not likely to cause any damage. You’ll also score a refund if the product doesn’t stick to your walls.
Expedited shipping is available to the United States and other select countries, and you simply need to head to the utility’s website to check that your country is on the list of supported shipping addresses.
This certainly adds an element of fun to wall art. Usually, you’d have to fork out quite a bit to get a quality print with which to decorate your house. This way, though, you get to choose exactly what you want the image to be, and have it delivered to your door.
