The heavens have answered our prayers. Vampire Survivors, the popular indie title that combines shoot ’em up and roguelite elements, will have a Castlevania DLC. Yes, you read that right. Ode to Castlevania, the upcoming (and possibly final?) DLC for Vampire Survivors will include a whopping more than 20 new characters, 40 new weapons, 30 new musical themes, and a gigantic new stage. All of them drawn from the famous vampire-hunting saga owned by Konami.

The great success of this game did not go unnoticed by Konami, who decided to collaborate with Poncle, the developer studio of Vampire Survivors, to add a DLC of Contra (because, why not). A few months after this collaboration, fans of the Belmont family & friends will finally have a Castlevania DLC.
Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania will cost $3.99 (€3.99 in Spain) and will offer more than 10 hours of gameplay. The DLC will be available starting October 31 on Steam, Xbox X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. With all this clear, now the only question is: Will we finally face a vampire, or will Poncle stay true to the game’s main meme?
