The Crow, the legendary 1994 film starring Brandon Lee, became very popular in its time for reasons unrelated to the narrative itself. In the film, Lee was accidentally shot and killed in a scene. But beyond this unfortunate event, the movie gained a lot of notoriety and is now considered a cult classic.

So, as it couldn’t be otherwise nowadays, now it’s going to have its own remake. In the new The Crow, its protagonist Bill Skarsgård hasn’t died —for now and thank goodness—, but the movie aims to be equally one of the biggest hits of 2024. It arrives in theaters on June 7th, and this is its trailer:

A new version of the original comic

Directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Zach Baylin, the new film is based on the 1989 limited comic series of the same name by James O’Barr. Undoubtedly, the anticipation couldn’t be higher, and many believe it will live up to the original.
