Although Xiaomi has become especially recognized within the field of mobile telephony, the truth is that the manufacturer covers a multitude of areas. Home automation, vacuum cleaners, electric toothbrushes… nothing escapes the brand. However, there is one “gadget” in particular that has managed to stand out among the public: its scooters. Now, Xiaomi has taken advantage of the Mobile World Congress to present its new flagship model, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra.

The Chinese manufacturer currently has a wide line of scooters for sale. Within its catalog, there was one model that stood out in terms of performance and quality, the Electric Scooter 4 Pro. However, that seems to be over. With the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra, the company improves in all aspects to its predecessor and also accompanies it with several matching accessories, such as a helmet and a bag to store the scooter.

Steep slopes, long distances… Xiaomi’s scooter can handle it all

Xiaomi‘s new scooter relies on a new double suspension system, both at the rear and at the front. In addition to the comfort it provides when traveling, it also makes the scooter suitable for riding on rougher terrain. The scooter also has climbing properties, making it capable of climbing slopes with an incline of up to 25%. Its 940W motor with a rated power of 500 watts provides all the power it needs to propel us smoothly.

Its impressive battery also offers a great autonomy. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra can travel up to 70 km on just one full charge. To put it in perspective, it far exceeds the 45 km offered by the Electric Scooter 4 Pro, its predecessor. However, you have to keep in mind that these are estimated figures obtained in controlled environments. Your driving style and the conditions of your environment will make these kilometers more or less.

On the other hand, the driver will have up to four different driving modes to choose from. According to the specifications offered by Xiaomi, the “scooter” can reach top speeds of 25 km/h. Its aluminum alloy structure also favors these high speeds thanks to its weight (about 25 kg).

When can we buy the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra?

For the moment, Xiaomi has not revealed when this scooter will go on sale. However, we do know its price: 999.99 euros. As a consumer, it is up to you to assess whether or not it is worth buying the “scooter”.
