Best time wasting apps

This is a simple yet addicting game where you try to combine like-numbers together. You can actually play beyond the 2048 tiles, but it's called 2048 because it's already pretty challenging to get to that tile in the first place. It also is pretty self-sustaining, so if you're on an electronic device that's away from WiFi or cell phone service, you won't have any problems. I always like to try to beat the last highest number of tiles that I merged to. More

2048 is a good way to kill time, and it's also fairly educational/good for your brain. It requires certain amounts of math and critical thinking skills. It's a better way to burn a few minutes than many other alternatives in that it makes you think. More

If someone is looking to waste time, they can certainly accomplish that on 9gag, especially if they have an affinity for internet memes. The site contains an extensive collection of pictures, videos and gifs that are meant to entertain. However, the layout feels very antiquated and can be unpleasant to navigate. There also isn't much beyond user-generated visual content. There's a facebook style comment section, but it's not particularly enjoyable to use or conducive to any real conversation. I'd recommend reddit instead, which fulfills a similar niche but has a much broader scope and a vastly more user-friendly layout. More

9GAG has a funny community. These past few months i stopped using this app on my phone and just visit this on the web but after its latest update that completely fixed the issue of this app i am back! I try not to use this too often. I plan on just checking in and the next thing I know I've wasted an hour. Do that more than once a day and you'll get very little done. So it's great at wasting time. More

Been loving this app ever since Reddit launched this. I know people are always complaining about the changes thay made from time to time that includes me. But that being said i love its community and the subreddits. This always keeps me using my phone to kill and waste time. More

Very addictive game that has always made me kill my time whenever i am bored to death. Unlike many of the game of this kind this doesn't get boring and it isn't pay to win type of game. Indeed this is a game you must play if u have nothing to do. My only complaint is that u cant play it w/o an internet. More

I am more of a video game type of person when it comes to wasting time. I have however used Imgur and it can be a good way to pass time. I have used it while waiting at the airport for my flights and have got some good laughs creating some GIFs. More

It is a cool app but Gifs now take at least 60 seconds to load, regardless of network speed!, it is great app don't get me wrong but I have a couple of suggestions: fix the damn bugs and update. More

I enjoy farming games and am always on the look out for something new. I've used this game before and found it to be quite entertaining. It's not complex at all, in fact, it's quite user friendly. The graphics are pretty good for a mobile app as well. The game has certainly kept me occupied for a few hours at a time. I've used it for commuting purposes; while waiting for a train or in an office awaiting an appointment. More

I even clicked on an empty screen to waste my time on an app. Farm Away looks also quite decent game to kill time. Personalize your page to find just the right websites, photos, and videos to check out while you're at your sister's volleyball match or your nephew's piano recital. And who knows?
