It has been a week since the free MMORPG Throne and Liberty, developed with Unreal Engine 4, was launched worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X, and the publisher Amazon Games has shared the first promising figures regarding the number of players.
According to Amazon, more than three million players have ventured into the world of Solisium during the first seven days of availability. In total, they have spent more than 24 million hours in the game, an average of eight each.
The game has also performed well on Twitch, with over 11 million hours watched on the streaming platform, a figure that is difficult to interpret, but one that Amazon has deemed worthy to share.

Everything Throne and Liberty has prepared for players
According to the official roadmap, the first major guild events, such as the first Tax Delivery Event and Castle Sieges, will be held in November. Amazon Games also plans to launch Arena Season 1 for the 3v3 mode and possibly the two-star cooperative dungeons.
The Korean version of Throne and Liberty has already seen the introduction of a new mountainous region called Talandre, where players can even take advantage of water currents to gain an edge during conquest battles.
In Talandre, players will encounter four new field bosses and two new archbosses to defeat. There are also new systems called Runes and Trait Resonance. All of this will be added in due time to the global version.
Amazon Games is not new to launching massive games, as both New World and Lost Ark quickly broke records. However, both games saw their respective player bases massively decrease over time, especially New World.
