Apple has introduced a new subscription that greatly simplifies how we create professional content on our devices. Under the name Creator Studio, the company offers us full access to all its professional applications, including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, and Compressor, for just $129 a year. It’s a proposal designed to compete directly with other subscription models, like Adobe’s, leaning on the power of the Apple ecosystem and on a very appealing price point for when we want to get the most out of our Mac, iPad, or iPhone.
One single access point to all of Apple’s pro apps
Until now, if we wanted to use Final Cut Pro or Logic Pro, we had to buy them separately or subscribe to their specific iPad versions. With Creator Studio, Apple gives us access to all its professional tools under a single subscription for $129 a year or $12.90 a month. This includes:
- Final Cut Pro, for professional video editing with support for HDR, ProRes, and multicam editing.
- Logic Pro, the flagship tool for music production with sound libraries and advanced plugins.
- Motion, ideal for creating animations, titles, and visual effects with the same quality we see in film or television.
- Compressor, for optimized, high-quality exports with compatibility across multiple platforms.
- Pixelmator Pro, for working with images quickly and efficiently thanks to a wide range of tools and various AI features.
Creator Studio also brings new additions to Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, Apple’s productivity tools, which receive new exclusive content in the form of a Content Hub with premium templates and high-quality images ready to use.
And the best Apple Intelligence features
Beyond access to the apps themselves, the Creator Studio subscription brings us several AI features built into the same apps. In Final Cut Pro, it lets us find audio by typing a phrase into search and sync video and music precisely through Time Detection. In Logic Pro, Synth Player acts as a music assistant capable of turning early ideas into tracks ready to mix.
In the visual space, Pixelmator Pro offers us tools like Super Resolution, Auto Crop, and Warp, available on iPad and Mac to improve image editing. In productivity apps, the AI that Creator Studio adds makes it easier for us to create presentation drafts, generate notes, and build smart formulas in Numbers.
Creator Studio supports creativity across the Apple ecosystem
One of Creator Studio’s biggest draws is its price compared to other professional solutions on the market. While services like Adobe Creative Cloud require monthly payments that easily go beyond $600 a year, Apple’s offering comes in at just $129 a year or $12.90 a month.
Creator Studio is, however, much more than a simple alternative to Adobe: it’s the way Apple wants to make it easier for us to get the most out of our hardware to create professional content with ease. With unified access, constant updates, and a very attractive price, this new service puts everything we need to create with our devices in our hands.
