The ending of the fourth season of Stranger Things left fans of the series in suspense. To make the long wait for its continuation more bearable, Netflix has released a short video that, although it doesn’t show much, allows us to get a glimpse of the series’ filming.
Currently, Stranger Things is halfway through filming of its fifth season, which we also know will be the last. The previous season was hailed as one of the best series of 2022, and its finale hinted at an epic fifth season.
In addition to seeing the main characters again, the clip introduces us to new faces, such as Jake Connelly, Nell Fisher, Alex Breaux, and the legendary Linda Hamilton. As the Duffer brothers hinted, it’s likely that in the fifth season we’ll see a time jump, although we don’t know how it would fit with the imminent threat of Vecna. We also know the name of the first episode, The Crawl, which was leaked in 2023.
For now, everything points toward the conclusion of Stranger Things not seeing the light until at least 2025. Its filming and production durations have been notoriously long between seasons, and the fifth won’t be any different.
