Some of the most impressive photography you can see comes from satellite images. With the new Earth View from Google Maps extension for Chrome, you can get these amazing images in every new tab you open.
The extension is simple – once installed, you will see a new image from Google Earth in new tabs. There’s a globe icon in the bottom left which tells you where in the world the image is from. Clicking this icon will open the image in Google Earth so you can explore further and discover new places.
To install Earth View from Google Maps, simply visit the Chrome Webstore, and click the Add Button. The extension will start working immediately with no further action. This works on desktop versions of Chrome – mobile versions have yet to get extensions.
