Just 48 hours ago we had the opportunity to see the new Resident Evil 4 Remake trailer. Beyond the expectation generated by Capcom’s game, the most fun of this new video is that in the footage we can see very familiar faces from the original game, but now with the new look given thanks to the RE Engine (the graphics engine with which they are all being made).

Perhaps the most unique case is that of Jack Krauser. The former special forces soldier appears in this new trailer in all his splendor. We’re not going to deny it: he looks amazing and recovers that feeling of a giant, of a built-in closet, which he already has in the original. Of course, adapted to the new times, although with a “redesign” where the most characteristic lines of the character have been maintained, such as the red beret, the knee pads or even the gauntlets. It looks very good.

Another one that also makes an appearance, but of which we had already seen something -although not so much-, is our beloved Luis Sera. This enigmatic character in the original game has undergone a major redesign. We are not only talking about the main shirt he wears, but also about his imprint, his face. In this remake he appears more emaciated, probably because of everything he suffered -and lived- in his relationship with The Plagues and his infection. In fact, although we are very fond of the original design, we will not deny that this new one has a better reflection of what Luis should be according to his synopsis. And to all this we must add locations that are very familiar to anyone who has played the base title.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be available on March 24 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox X Series | S and PC. The Xbox One version is missing, of which there are only rumors about its availability in the near future (in case it comes out, in Softonic we will report about it).
