For days, “Taylor Swift” has become one of the most searched terms within X, formerly known as Twitter. Of course, this is not something strange, especially considering that she was one of the most listened artists of the entire 2023. However, the interest generated by Swift has nothing to do with music, but rather with “sexual” matters.
Specifically, sexually explicit images generated by artificial intelligence have caused a great uproar. Taylor Swift becomes a new victim of “deepfake” pornography after a user posted these images. The publication reached over 35 million views and thousands of likes before it was taken down by X itself due to a violation of the social network’s policies.
As we know, the Internet never forgets. Even though the post had been deleted, its content has been reposted by many other accounts. According to what we can read on The Verge, in some regions the term “Taylor Swift AI” became a trending topic.
The origin of said content is still not very clear. However, a report by 404 Media points to a Telegram group as the source. In this group, users share explicit images of women generated by artificial intelligence, a fact that, unfortunately, is becoming more and more common.
