VSCO was a competent app until the recent upgrades. Now, while it still works well enough on iOS, it crashes constantly on my Android. I can't crop or even save files; it tells me I don't have enough space, even though there's like, 30gb free. More

Although this app is has a four-star rating, there are some issues with the quality of the app when it is paired with the camera. I would say use it and try to figure out the app before fully committing to it. More

ProCamera is a must for any phone user. It's better then the default camera app and gives me so much more options then other camera apps available.

A nice app that I added to my Samsung phone. It lets you do a lot of things with your pictures. You can mash them up into a collage or add filters. I had a lot of fun playing with the different features of this app. I was able to make a big collage of my friends from different pictures. More

This was a huge improvement over the stock camera app on my phone. Just Stable Shot helped so much. I haven't even tried most of the effects yet, there are so many options! I just wish it was free. More

Camera360 is the best camera app ever! It has so many features and I like using the stickers and sending the photos to my friends!

Snapseed is a multi-use photo editor app that lots and lots of people love. It has so many effects that can turn your ordinary photos into something awesome. The tool layout and format is so easy to use, it can make everyone feel like a professional. The only issue is that Google recently updated the app, sigh. Now it is taking some time to get used to the format. The tools aren't easily accessible or maybe it is just me, but I greatly preferred the old layout. Please bring it back, Google! More

Honestly, when my friend told me that Snapseed was the best mobile alternative to Photoshop, I scoffed at him. But I had to eat my words once I downloaded it because wow! As a photographer I love to have control in any camera I use. This includes the simple snapshots and captures I take with my phone. Now the built in camera app is fine if you're just shooting images of your pets, selfies, or random shots of your meal. For me, I like to take portraits, shoot landscape, and capture cool street photography, and that requires an app that lets me have more control over my settings to allow me to capture a shot the way I want it to be shot. Camera MX has been really good for me since I gave it a shot. My favorite feature of Camera MX is the turn back time feature. It lets me rewind up to 3 seconds on the shot so I can save the best frame. Sometimes I feel like I missed a shot, it's not a problem here though, because I can just rewind up to 3 seconds and see what I can grab to save that image. I can also edit and manage the photos I capture all within the app. Really straight forward and easy to use, it's truly a no fuss app for me. I have to also mention that the feature that lets me save it as an animated GIF is really nifty. Definitely a standout for camera apps and I would certainly know since I have over 30 other camera apps on my phone! Camera MX allowed me to delete those other apps and rely strictly on this one because it simply does the job and does it well. More

Awesome editor. But in this version there is an issue. I am using it on Lenovo K8 note(Naughat). The issue is it don't save high resolution image after editing. For example if i choose 3072x2304 resolution image to edit, when i go to save imave and choose options 100% resolution with HIGH quality, then it saved very low resolution 1764x992 image with very low quality. The original image was of 7.9MB and after editing it was only of 321KB. It should keep same resolution and make pixels, quality high. But it is making low. Please fix it soon. I am using it since 2015. Please fix it ASAP. Then i will give 5 stars to it. More

Contrary to what my little brother thought, this will not give your crummy camera more megapixels or whatever. The camera will be the same, but this does enable you to make more of what you can get from whatever camera your device happens to have -- fix color balance, correct red eyes, make collages, take double exposures. This adds some features to your on board camera but wont ever actually improve the quality of images you take, if anything it damages video quality and unless you're willing to spend hours learning what each of the features do i'd suggest passing and just getting a better phone if the camera is that important. More

I love this app. I use it when I don't want to lug around dslr camera but still want a professional looking shot.

I'm not sure I'd call Manual a "best camera app" with only an average 3.5 star rating. It seems like there are probably better liked apps out there. As a camera app, it has the basic features I'm looking for, and I would definitely consider it on a short list of apps to try. More

Manuel Camera is everything i need and more, the base andriod camera app can be a bit clunky at times and not listen to what i want it to do, but manual camera allows for all the customization in the world. It makes taking pictures and recording memories extremely easy and fun. More

I adore do itself devices because one can learn application from it easily. I like Manual Camera because it is user friendly. I understand why it is the best camera app that improve on my device native camera. More

I can point and shoot with Open Camera and get true to color images. Settings are easy to navigate . This app calibrates my phones camera sensors and get a nice picture without any adjusting. My phones default camera app takes terrible pictures on auto mode.... Funny because Sony brags heavily on its phone camera. I will look to donate to app development. Thanks More

I still have an older iPhone and I absolutely am in love with this app. I hear there are some problems with newer phones so hopefully they get that problem solved. I love taking photos but I never carry around a camera anymore since the cell phone took over the world, so I had been settling for less then great photos and then I found this app which allows me to set the shutter speed and catch more artistic shots. Did I mention that I love it? More

Slow Shutter Cam will really help you make cool photos from your phone. You can make really cool images like you would with a DSLR camera. You can control you shutter speed which makes a big difference in getting good pictures. More
